Our greatest accomplishment is with Roman
-- one of our original foundation dogs. By being the
first Cane Corso to achieve all three temperament
stability certificates, Roman is the perfect
example of the confidence and natural mind-set
of the breed. The concept of a guard dog,
that can also perform therapy work with the
handicapped, has been a reality in our kennel
for years.

AKC's
Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
is a ten step certification program.
This evaluation certifies a dog that has
good manners at home and in the
community; a dog that isn't a threat or
nuisance in any social setting.

The
Temperament Test (TT)
focuses on and measures different
aspects of temperament such as
stability, shyness, aggressiveness, and
friendliness as well as the dog's
instinct for protectiveness towards its
handler and/or self-preservation in the
face of a threat.

Therapy Dogs International,
Inc.
(TDI), is a volunteer organization
dedicated to regulating, testing and
registering potential therapy dogs. A
therapy dog is a dog that does volunteer
work with patients in hospitals, nursing
homes and other institutions wherever
therapy dogs are needed to lift the
spirits of such people.
